Strategic Account Manager for DACH

We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager – a high-performance front-line sales position focused on leading the pursuit and capture of new strategic client relationships within the DACH region in charge of developing new accounts and converting those relationships into profitable long-term relationships for RHV Group, channel partners, and the client. 

What will you be doing? 

As a Strategic Account Manager at RHV Group, you will be responsible for driving growth by leveraging our extensive network and market insights to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will take a consultative approach, focusing on our client’s business needs and challenges rather than just selling furniture.

You will be responsible for implementing a ‘business issue’-first approach in the sales process and utilizing the company’s resources and our partner network to create and capitalize on sales opportunities. Additionally, you will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Your main objective will be to build and maintain a customer-focused approach to drive sales and satisfaction.

  • Identifying and actively pursuing new business opportunities with potential clients, such as large corporations, government agencies, and other organizations, by leveraging market insights and utilizing the company’s network.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts, including executives, managers, and other stakeholders, to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and influencers.
  • View the entire RHV Group Partner Forum as a possible touch point for the opportunity to create and work in tandem for tailored solutions to respond to the client.
  • Developing and presenting innovative and sustainable design concepts that reflect clients’ corporate identity and promote employee well-being.
  • Collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure that proposals align with client’s needs and budgets and delivering comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Organize an host online and offline events with strategic partners and customers to drive sales and build connections.
  • Advising clients on developing new work concepts, focusing on agile, sustainable, and health-promoting environments, and conducting workshops to integrate employees and managers in the concept development process.
  • Utilizing the resources of the entire Partner Forum to create tailored solutions for clients and identify new opportunities.
  • Communicating client feedback to the company’s leadership team to inform product development and other strategic initiatives and work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement account strategies.
  • They demonstrated a deep understanding of customers and their needs and closed profitable sales by achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the company’s overall revenue growth.

 

Who You Are:  

Required Skills and Competencies  

  • While we prioritize skill and proficiency, we prefer 2-5 years of experience in strategic account management in retail or e-commerce within the furniture, design, or construction industry, with a higher education degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Think outside the box, familiar with current social media platforms and trends, with hands-on experience in creating social media content and maintaining accounts. 
  • Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and a willingness to take ownership of results.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with key decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • We have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • A passion for architecture, design, sustainability, innovation, modern working environments, creativity, and inventiveness.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Strong attention to detail, working well under pressure, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in fluent German and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and experience with CRM tools.
